Rag&bone was founded in Kentucky and emerged from the frustration of two friends - Marcus Wainwright and David Neville - who were disappointed after another shopping trip where they just couldnt find the clothing they wanted to wear. In order to fill this disturbing void they decided to found their own company in 2002. They had neither fashion expertise nor training in design. So they surrounded themselves with experts of sewing, cutting and constructing who edged their focus on high-qualitative design and details. The philosophy of rag&bone was born: creating items which are made with a great pride in the work of tailoring and an immense love for details and quality in every aspect of the product. Nowadays they incorporate cool elegance and combine modern elements with a classical foundation.

Rag&bone aims at designing pieces of work which are classics in respect to the materials and art of tailoring. They cooperate with the oldest and most renowned button manufacturers in the US in order to guarantee highest standards of quality. At the same time their cuts are innovative and modern.
