Bright colors, wild patterns and no restrictions
Mamma Mia!!
Comeback of the 70s
The 70s! Not only that we still benefit from the introduction of the first Personal Computer by Apple or the golden oldie ABBA-songs but also every woman wearing hot pants nowadays owes that super practical and sexy fashion item to this decade. That is by far not all this decade has to offer though. Also dresses - mini, midi (just a little over covering the knee) or maxi in every possible color shaped that period. Women started wearing pants regularly and the wedge heel began paving its way. Every restriction considering colors and patterns and combinations of both was eliminated. A “no-go” for “no-gos”! The more colors, the better. The brighter the accessories, the more fashionable. Collars? The bigger, the better! The winner takes it all. And here we are, more than 30 years later and more than ever addicted to flower power and bell bottoms.
So, is this the comeback of the polka-dot petty coat and big bows in our hair? How far can we actually go? Lets start with the classics: Very 70s and already regularly seen last year but still on top of our list is the maxi dress. Very summery, elegant and sexy without being too obvious. The romantic floral painted maxi silk dress by Dolce & Gabbana reaches right down to the floor and works great with flats during the day as well as at night combined with an elegant blazer (

It is made out of 100% silk and its V-neck makes it look very outstanding compared to last seasons strapless cotton maxi dresses. The V-Neck compared to its strapless counterpart also makes it more suitable for smaller women who wont look shorter than they are. For those who still dont want to miss the side-effect of getting tanned but want something at least as summery and colorful we have the Paul & Joe yellow day dress (

Its silk bow and belt that accentuates the waist make it look very feminine. Perfect with sandals on a hot summer day. Both dresses are the embodiment of the 70s. Slim on the top, wide and feminine on the bottom. And the best part: both look best with flats, so no need to torture yourself in high heels on a hot summer day if youre not in the mood.

MUST HAVES AUF UNIQUE WAY
Following the footsteps of Greases Sandy D. we have to have this polka dots dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs (
Produkt z.Zt. ausverkauft). Its white little dots on red ground make us think of strawberries and cream on a hot summer day and again its knee length pleases our legs. Wear it and youll not only have a sexy silhouette but also realise that its super comfortable. Its halter neck and accentuated waist will definitely make it the most feminine dress in your closet. For slightly more elegant occasions, wear it with a pair of peep toes, take it to a cocktail party or a wedding and youll beat every classic cocktail dress. For those who want to escape the huge color invasion this season: tough task! Still we have a little something for you.
Valentino R.E.Ds white V-Neck pleated dress is an absolute classic (
Produkt z.Zt. ausverkauft). Its made out of stretch cotton, which makes it very comfortable to wear. Sleeveless and slim on the top and with a slightly flared and pleated skirt in mid-thigh length it flatters her silhouette and makes her look like a real Lady. Her waist is being accentuated with two decorative buttons, the eye-catchers of the dress. Pairs perfectly with gladiator sandals or classic peep toes and is suitable for any occasion from business to summer parties. And last but not least, the 70s most famous achievement and almost as important as the 60s mini-skirt achievement: The hot pants. A classic and a Must-Have for every woman. The more
